Hearing of journalist Can Dündar, accused of “publishing the materials of a terrorist organization” was held at İstanbul 22. High Criminal Court.
Dündar, who lives abroad, is charged with “publishing the materials of a terrorist organization” due to his participation in the solidarity campaign launched by the now-shuttered pro-Kurdish Özgür Gündem daily. Dündar’s lawyer was present in the hearing.
The court announced that there was no response to the rogatory they sent to Germany in order to take Dündar’s testimony. Hearing was adjourned until 18 July.
