The third hearing in the trial of journalist Ahmet Kanbal, who is facing charges of "publicly disseminating misleading information" due to his reporting activities in the southeastern city of Adıyaman following the earthquakes centered in Adıyaman and Kahramanmaraş, has been held.
The hearing took place at the Adıyaman 5th Criminal Court of First Instance. Kanbal's lawyer, Erdal Kuzu, did not attend the session, citing an excuse.
As no developments occurred during the hearing, the trial was adjourned to 10:20 a.m. on March 6.
