In the fourth hearing of a case against Rozerin Gültekin, a JinNews reporter, the Bursa 18th Criminal Court of First Instance acquitted her, citing the absence of the elements of the alleged crime. Gültekin was detained while covering a march titled "Walking to Gemlik to Defend Freedom Against Isolation Politics" and was subsequently charged with opposing the Law on Meetings and Demonstration Marches No. 2911.

The protest, organized by six institutions in Bursa on June 12, 2022, aimed to challenge the communication ban imposed on Abdullah Öcalan. During her coverage of the event, Gültekin was taken into custody. The prosecutor, in the case, characterized the protest as an action against the so-called isolation of Abdullah Öcalan and identified the websites promoting the event as sympathetic to the PKK/KCK armed terrorist organization. The prosecutor also referred to a ban on the march issued by the Bursa Governorate and had argued for Gültekin's punishment under the related law.

However, the court found that the charges against Gültekin were unfounded, leading to her acquittal.
